Frances and her client - Spirit

"We (My wife Martine and I) had been having a problem with our dog, Spirit, leaving pee spots and Poodle bombs in the house, on the rug, especially during the night. He had his own Doggie Door for access to our outside patio and we had tried repeatedly to get him to understand that this was where he needed to "go", not only during the day but also during the night.
So, one day, when Frances was at our home grooming Spirit, we asked her if she could speak with Spirit and see why he had started this behavoir. He told her that the tiles on the patio were hard and cold on his feet but that the rug inside the house was warm and soft. He preferred to walk on the rug inside. He added that he didn't like having to walk outside in the middle of the night on the cold hard and sometimes wet tile to do what he needed to do.
The solution to this problem seemed to be to provide him with a throw rug by his Doggie Door so he wouldn't have to put his (delicate) Poodle paws on the cold, wet or hard tile. As I recall, Frances asked him if this would work and he said that he would see.

I'm happy to report that Mr. Spirit now goes on or near the outside rug during the night - most of the time."

Frances W. Greenspan is an animal artist, pet groomer and animal communicator who has been actively involved in the world of animals from an early age. As an only child, her dogs and cats were her first playmates.
Her career as a professional artist began in high school, and has rapidly grown into an impressive line of unique animal illustrations, portraits and products. Her specialty is custom animal portraits skillfully illustrated from favorite pet photographs.
As Frances groomed the animals, her psychic development grew and the animals began to "speak" to her. This began quite innocently when she was talking to a Lhasa Apso (male) and Toy Poodle (female) she was grooming. They were from the same household and it was obvious to Frances that the poodle received most of the attention. She said out loud to the male, "She gets all the attention, doesn’t she?" In a Southern drawl, Frances heard in her head the words, "Yep, she’s mom’s and I’m dad’s." This startled her, but she continued to finish her grooming of the pair. When mom and dad came to pick them up, mom went for the poodle and dad had the Lhasa on his lap. The dad said to Frances (in a Southern drawl matching the dog’s voice), "We call him ‘Mr. Personality'", therefore confirming her conversation with the Lhasa.
And her communication with the animals began and continues ...
